A friend passed me this yesterday. The WHO is looking for an “Advisor, Family and Community Health” in Caracas, Venezuela. Or prefer Dominican Republic?

If you are a more experienced doctor, preferable with expertise in obstetrics and Gyn, family medicine or pediatrics and fulfill the following requirements:

• A university degree in a health-related profession and a master’s degree in public health, family health or related field from a recognized institution.
• Nine years of combined national and international experience in managing inter-sectoral health or social projects and programs in the area of family health with emphasis in sexual and reproductive health. Of these, at least five years should include development of policies.
• Very good knowledge of English or Spanish with a working knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of French and/or Portuguese would be an asset.
